Check my home page for more personal infos. This page contains information about the RHESSI data analysis sofware and related topics. This consists mainly of documentation to use the modules I have been working on. The information is intended for users of the IDL command-line. Higher-level documents about the RHESSI sofware, such as GUI an Data Analysis Guides, can be found in the RHESSI Data and Sofware Center.

• Software contributions are in several branches of the Solar Soft Tree (ssw), mainly the RHESSI branch, some also in the ETHZ branch, and also some routines in the gen branch of the tree.

Visibilities
How to use the visibilities to generate images and how to access bags of visibilities.

Eventlist Files
How to create lists of time-tagged photons to speed up the generation of RHESSI images, light curves and spectra.

RHESSI Image
This document describes how to use the image object of the RHESSI sofware. It focuses on the capability, introduced in autumn 2004, to generate image cubes. Image cubes are 4-dimenstional arrays containing images in multiple time and energy intervals. Readers are reffered to the RHESSI imaging first steps for more infromation about single imagge generation.

DateTime
How to use the datetime() object, a "new" kind af very small objects with lots of methods. This one is used to manage the date/time formats.

Roll Database Software
How to use the roll database software, hsi_roll_db() and hsi_roll_db_full().

Spectrogram
Shows how to deal with spectrograms, read them, plot, them, overlay them, and so on.
